Located in the center of Jacksonville, Florida, Tree Hill Nature Center is the place in our community to benefit from important environmental programs and experience family fun in a natural environment. Home to 50 acres of trails, a Florida Natural History Museum, butterfly and hummingbird gardens and native animals, Tree Hill has provided the best in environmental and energy education to our community for four decades.
At Tree Hill, students and teachers have the opportunity to attend field study classes on forest ecology surrounded by our unique combination of three ecosystems and beautiful surroundings. Teacher workshops and adult training are provided (on and off-site) on a variety of environmental topics. Nature walks, a natural history museum, live animal displays and a butterfly house provide a fun learning experience for visitors of all ages.

Keep in mind that barred owls prefer trees with large d https://www.facebook.com/138835202818792 iameters and blend in with spanish mosh. Look for shadowy football type shapes. Willow Branch Park in Riverside is a good option for owls, too. Listen to their calls on youtube because you'll typically hear them before seeing them. & don't confuse the sound of a mourning dove (listen to that on youtube, too) because I used to do that all the time and be super disappointed. 😂
