About us

Pickens Animal Rescue Veterinary Hospital is non-profit 501c3 organization owned by Pickens Animal Rescue Inc of Jasper, GA. Profits go towards caring for the Pickens Animal Rescue animals as well as providing discounted services to all rescue groups. We are a day time and after hours clinic; but we don't charge after hours fees as a community service to all pet owners and rescue groups. The clinic has state of the art digital x-ray, full service lab, surgery suite, and isolation room for treatment of contagious illnesses. Our staff shows compassion and understanding in caring for your pet while offering the latest in treatment options. We look forward to working with you and your pets!

I NEED THE NAME OF A VETERINARIAN OR GROUP IN THE CUMMING, ALPHARETTA OR BUFORD AREA THAT IS REASONABLY PRICED AND COULD TREAT A SICK CAT TONIGHT. I also need to find a regular vet that could follow up on the kitten on Saturday or during the week. Are there are any regular vets open after hours tonight? I live in Gainesville but there isn't a good after hours pet hospital here other than Animerge which is the worst pet hospital. I can travel to Cumming, Alpharetta and Buford. This is a friend's 3 month old male shorthair kitten - she said the kitten got outside and he is not eating, not walking much and limping. I need to get him to the vet tonight. Any recommendations?
