We are an animal rescue based in the South East of England that saves dogs from death row in UK pounds, we also take in dogs from families that can no longer give them the time and care that they need. Dogs are re-homed as family pets.We do not have kennel facilities and all dogs are placed into foster homes once assessed. We also help with cats and other small pets. We are a non destruct, non profit organisation. Registered Charity No. 1163839
hi everyone my son would like to give a dog its forever home it would be loved and safe and he is home all day. He wants to take a dog that is from a rescue maybe an older one that is being overlooked rather than buy from a breeder. we know we can go to wood green Battersea etc but my son lives 50 miles in the opposite direction and it would be complicated to arrange home checks etc as some rescues wont travel that far so if anyone is no longer able to keep their dog and needs a good home for it or anyone works for a rescue or rescues dogs from abroad pls pm me, thanks

I'd highly recommend Luna Animal Rescue, based in Arlesey, dogs are in foster homes, not kennels. They can home check all over the UK. http://lunaanimalrescue.org
