  UPDATE: I took her to Animal Control. No posted signs for cocker spaniels. No chip. She is in heat, so never fixed either. She has two lumps on her hind legs, not sure what they are, but they hurt her when you touch them. I am taking her to our family vet for a check up and vaccines. Will keep everyone posted. My neighbors found a stray dog and have been taking care of her for a few months. They just gave her to me so I don’t know where they found her. But they said they never took her to check for a chip. Is there somewhere you can take a dog to look for a chip but is no cost? I’m at 35th Ave. and Camelback. She’s absolutely gorgeous and we would love to keep her, but I could not in good conscience do that until I was sure she doesn’t belong to a family
