About us
The short version; I love my job, I keep it simple, nothing complicated, just capturing natural precious moments.
The long version; I am based in Cheshire but love to take my photography all over the UK, Europe and beyond! I have been in love with the art of photography all my life.
I like to think I inherited my love for photography from my Grandfather and my Mother. My Grandfather was a real artist who had an eye for imagery like I have never seen before. He travelled to every capital city in Europe and that was just the tip of the iceberg off his amazing adventures. He was also an amazing oil painting artist. His talents were countless, yet his humility is what made him the kindest man I have ever met. Sadly he hasn’t been with us for a long time but he is constantly in my memory.
My mother has boxes and boxes of photographs that we just have not had the time to put into albums. She made sure she captured my sister and me growing up. She always had her camera with her and instilled in me that making memories was such an important part of life. I am very grateful for the memories she has saved.
Over the years I have had the privilege of being part of well over 125 weddings and countless family photo-shoots. I have a diploma in photography but it is the experience I have had over the years that has given me a firm foundation in journalistic style wedding photography. I feel so grateful to be able to turn something I love into an occupation.
To love your job is a real privilege. Something I am thankful for every day.
Capturing natural moments is very important to me. Why? Because a candid photograph captures a person in their truest form. Genuine expression, emotion, and personality are saved forever. These images are my true passion. Although the formal photos are important too, the photographs we love the most of ourselves, are the photos we didn’t even know were being taken.
