  so i have had suspicion for the last couple of years that i may have a thyroid issue due to a substantial gain in weight that accumulated very quickly and issues with fatigue, dizziness and extreme irritability. went to my pcp and he ran blood test but didn’t find anything and last week when i saw my dentist she said that my thyroid feels enlarged so i want a second opinion. i know blood tests can miss this but i am kind of peeved that my doctor didn’t bother with feeling my neck itself. does anyone have any advice or know a good doctor to help me figure out what’s going on? i realize it may not be a thyroid issue but i just want to figure it out once and for all. thanks in advance!
