  Roofing advice please! Some elderly friends of mine (in Wycombe) have signed up for some roofing work which I fear is either not required and/or over-priced. The roof on their bungalow is a mixture of flat and pointed – the flat area is c. 6 x3m. They have been told that there is a problem with this part, and need to have it stripped back, possibly boards replaced, and re-covered – at a quote of over £10k (“they gave us a good discount” apparently). They are very trusting individuals, but I am concerned that they should at least get a second opinion/quote. Any advice/recommendations please?
