  I live in Ky. as well , I have a great lupus doctor in Ohio. Her name is DR. Jennifer Lobert (513)351-0800. I'm not sure if she prescribes pain medication. I also have chronic back pain so, I go to an interventional pain specialist. And he prescribes my pain medication.I hope this info helps. Hoping you get relief soon.
