About us
Karin Price, born and raised in south Florida, learned at a young age of 12 that her true passion was makeup. When she was growing up she collected dozens of fashion magazines and would look at them for inspiration. She took that inspiration and would practice her skills on anyone that would let her.
Her family urged her to pursue a college degree, and after a couple years at Saint Johns River State College in St. Augustine FL, she received her Associates Degree in Arts with a Communication major and decided it was time to follow her dream of being a professional makeup artist.
After researching many schools fate lead her to Cosmix Makeup Artistry School in Ft Lauderdale FL. She first finished Cosmix Esthetician program in August of 2011, and although she really enjoyed the skin care, makeup artistry was still in the cards for her.
So in July of 2011 she decided after a solid foundation and knowledge of the skin, she should find a way to do the Production Program at Cosmix.
With some hard work and dedication, along with Cosmix amazing willingness to help artist find the way to success, she enrolled in the Production Course and graduated in October 2011. She currently freelances out of Los Angeles, California!
