About us
My page is about me Matthew McDaid, I'm a self-employed decorator and Top Coat Maintenance is my business. I'm 25, originally from London I now stay between Devon and Banbury where i have family connections. I also still have connection in London and also take on work in this area too.
I started training as a decorator after leaving school and went to college to study the trade seriously. I learned all the aspects of the trade, twice I guess "site-way" & "collage-way".. Either way I’m a fully qualified or experience in my craft. I studied for 3 years the 3 courses (FCA, ICA, ACA) ranged from the basic of the trade, preparation, painting & hanging wall coverings right up to specialist finishes like gold leaf, stippling, marbling wood graining. Also I was trained and passed, at the time CSCS health & safety test. I have a passion for my work. I enjoy doing what I do. I particularly enjoy exterior work in the drier seasons as it's lovely to work outdoors and normally on projects that requires allot of restoration and re-build work as exteriors tend to get done less often than the interior of a property.
Allot of my friends and contacts tell me that I should start a page to show my work, testimonials and reviews etc. Sooo here it is! Bear with me though as I’m still gathering old pictures together from places.
