Belvoir Associates Ltd. (Mrs Flatpack) is a small Company that was started in October 1990 by the 3 current Directors who are experienced in the Furniture Retail / Manufacturing and Selling background.
The Company was started in a small unit based in Oakham which is located in the heart of Rutland County and has now grown to be the Company we are today.
Specialising in the Furniture Trade, and competing with many larger and better equipped Companies, a niche has been carved out by devoting our efforts to shaped work, added value products and smaller run quantities. Whilst working with the Mail Order sector, our strength is in our flexibility to be able to make changes to a product, at the request of our customers, in a quick and efficient manner.
Initially, the majority of sales were exports to close European Countries, and whilst we still have a strong export presence, the dynamics have changed significantly with the evolution of on-line shopping via the web where we now have our own selling domains and can cater direct to the domestic market.
To this day, we are all thrilled when a customer invests in a piece of our furniture. It’s the items we surround ourselves with in our own home; we make it, we use it and we know what’s expected of it from everyday living.
We’re a family business and we love what we do every single day. We count ourselves fortunate to have a great team around us and we understand the value of great service and the importance of going the extra mile.
