  Need your help took my mom to a dentist yesterday, few issues: 1) the hygienist looked at my mom teeth and x rays and said - she is ok with the regular cleaning, but after talking with a " dentist" she said my mom needs deep cleaning which is much more expensive? Does that sounds right? we paid the insurance which includes two free regular cleaning, I asked them if we can exchange those two regular clearings for deep cleaning- and they refused? what should I do? 2) the sub dentist in the same clinic said- most likely my mom tooth can't be saved and doing a crown would be waste of money. the regular dentist said- crown is good? who do I believe? ( the price of crown under 2K)

  Get a second opinion! Janice L Heard in Rolesvile has been in practice for over 25 years and is fantastic. She is excellent, conservative, and highly knowledgeable.
