The idea of creating a keepsake out of recycled clothes came to me when I wanted to make something home made for my childrens Grandparents. I had bags of clothes that I had kept from them being born and decided to make a patchwork quilt from the clothes, to help them remember special moments. As you can imagine they were loved by all. Since then I have gone on to make them for friends and family and it has developed into making cushions and bears, with more animals being created at the minute, but if you have specific ideas of your own, that are different to any examples on here, please contact me as I always try to get the most out of the clothes given to me. The posibilities of creativity are endless it doesnt have to be just from baby clothes, but from blankets or t.shirts from a special holiday, and I can applique names or shapes onto the finished product and can even include photographs on the fabric at an extra cost.
