  Recommendations on Cincinnati “Build On Your Lot” Home Builders Hi neighbors! We bought a half acre lot last year and are looking to build a house on it. We’ve had difficulty finding a builder because our lot is sloped upward (street is lower than back) and in between two other houses. It seems like it can’t be THAT much harder to build on but we’ve been discouraged by Schumacher and Pendragon. Does anyone have recommendations for builders that are comfortable building on a sloped lot? We’re willing and able to pay the extra amount for excavation as we know it’s more challenging than a flat lot. We’re just looking for anyone that is confident they can do it with quality and give us a price. We have a custom design that my dad created with a side entry basement garage and are willing to pick a plan from the builder if they can modify it for a basement garage.

  Looking for someone or a company to remodel my bathroom. I have a standard 8x5 bathroom I am looking to get remodeled. It is down to the studs so needs walls put up and tile in the shower and floor. Anyone have any recommendations? The labor only quotes I am getting are around $8-8.5k which seems absurd for something so basic.
