My house had a pipe burst AFTER the water was shut off and the pipes were drained because their Shut off valve failed. I have written document where they are claiming fault of the damage, but their insurance company is trying to say they are immune from paying because of Texas Tort Claims Act. Repair estimate on the house is almost $23,000. I had a tenant set to move in on the 21st, but now that mold is growing on the wall because of the water leak, I am expecting the contract to fall apart.
