Alison is a Registered Psychometrist (Independent Practice) offering psychological assessments to children and young adults, theses includes career, subject choice, psycho-educational , school readiness, concession assessments (exam accommodations), adult career transitions and general IQ assessments. These assessments provide direction and guidance for important decisions that parents may need to make that will influence their children’s future. Alison also presents study skills workshops to individuals as well as groups using the Study Toolbox kit.
Alison Raleigh attended a Read For Africa Phono-Graphix Certification Course in July 2016 and has completed a 12-week internship programme and is now a certified Ph o n o-G r a ph i x™ Reading Therapist in English.
Phono-Graphix™ is a straightforward reading and spelling method, which was developed by Carmen and Geoffrey Mc Guinness in 1993, at the Read America clinic in Orlando, Florida.
