I need help finding an internet provider that is good and that can come to my area near box ankle any suggestions? I called my cable company and they said only HughesNet can be connected at our house anyone have them if so is it reliable service? Thank you in advance. ..
Kimberly S. replied:
That's how it was for me year! AT&T finally started servicing my area (Culloden) and I couldn't be happier! Give them a call and see if they service your area. 1-800-288-2020.
Bobby B. replied:
We are with at&t and have a micro cell thru at&t and have no problems
Kimberlee W. replied:
Hughes Net AWFUL!!! And worst customer service Ever. I live off Blount Road, on the line - am Monroe County but Jackson addr. Haven’t had any luck with AT&T, or anyone else for that matter. Please post if you get anyone - I did better with dialup in 1999!
Rick E. replied:
I have not been happy with AT&T for some time. Extremely slow ... outages. I asked my IT guy about Hughes Net. He said, "Don't even think about it!" I trust his opinion. Guess I'm stuck with AT&T till something better comes along.
Does anyone have a LOCAL phone number for AT&T? Not a cell phone store, but somewhere with someone in there area I can speak to. I had an original service installation date of April 5th....but still no service. The tech came out on the 5th and discovered someone had driven over the outside terminal in the neighbors yard. The tech said it would be repaired within a week. Again...that was on April 5th. I've spoken with AT&T reps ALL OVER THE GLOBE...but none can tell me when we will have internet. Other providers do not service my address in Seymour. Help??
Debbie K. replied:
1 800 288 2020
Becky W. replied:
We got this same crap from AT&T for over a year when our phone service would stop working. They would come out to "repair" it and half-ass do the job so that it would work for about 2 weeks then service would be out again for a few weeks. They wouldn't show up when they said they would and on and on. Finally decided it was a bill we didn't need to pay so got rid of them completely. Now I want nothing to do with them.
Adam F. replied:
I had a similar issue with Charter when I bought my house (new build). I called my builder who put me in contact with the guy over the line crews at Charter. Maybe try that route for AT&T...
Anyone know who her primary telephone company is here? My branch is laying on a phone line and I have to get them to cut it down.
Susan B. replied:
18002882020 was att landline #
Lisa C. replied:
AT&T??
Bill W. replied:
It's AT&T and Comcast/Xfinity.
Lindsey D. replied:
AT&T -- you may try NES as well if there is power line near.
Lindsey D. replied:
No Ma'am ... different lines..... NES is the thick line, might even be wrapped around a silver support wire (b/c it's heavy) ... AT&T is the thin line.
Anyone with AT&T internet lose service this morning?
HeatherBryan G. replied:
I just called and got a credit as well. They said a tech was at the site fixing the problem ( doubt that) anyways if any one wants a credit call 800-288-2020 they picked up with minimal wait time.
Angie G. replied:
AT&T just called me back, our service will be out for 4-24 hours. I also got a credit for a loss of 24 hours of service.
Ryan W. replied:
Yeah. Maybe they will pay for my cell data overage. Who am I kidding AT&T sucks
Geoffrey D. replied:
A credit is now promised and we have a ticket number for the outage. . And a remarkable lack of concern from AT&T
Alyssa B. replied:
Just was told by AT&T that the outage is for 24-48 hours and is due to "natural calamity" and then they came back and said lines were hurt by snow. We originally were going to get a $10 credit but our home phone service is out also so they're giving us $20 credit.
So, a power line fell across my driveway, oncor says it's not their line, possibly cable or phone. Does anyone know what company I need to call??? I didn't know we could even get cable out here..
Anyone have a customer service number for AT&T ? I need to get above the normal reps you get when you call. Having a billing issue that know one can help with .
Thanks for any info !
Looking for a new Internet service. Must be able to reach 10 miles southeast of Panhandle. Have had Ama Techtel for several years but their signal has diminished and no longer reaches us. Any suggestions?
ISO an affordable and reliable internet service. I have already cancelled Comcast and Dish Network so they are not a contender. I cannot find a phone number for AT&T U verse. Thanking everyone in advance for your input
Deborah T. replied:
I have at&T Uverse 800.288.2020 - some areas of debary can not get it but we have had At&T internet for years and have been very happy with Uverse since we got that a couple years ago
John M. replied:
Phyllis LayPort do you live in an area where you can get other Internet service? Some areas are stuck with certain providers. The number for AT&T U-Verse is 800-288-2020.
Jason C. replied:
Try regular at&t? U verse didn't make it to my last house, but regular at&t did. My only issue with them was the speed I could get in the house was crap, but it's different at different houses/areas.
Deborah T. replied:
yes I had regular AT&T for many yearsand was also very happy with them - i got the highest speed they had and never had any issues with speed - i have a friend here in town that still has regular and she is very happy with them also
Susan M. replied:
Yep try regular AT&T. Unfortunately once you go to U-Verse you can't switch back to at&t so keep that in mind if it becomes available. I have U-Verse for Internet only, can't switch back and it messed up our landline-based alarm system. Wound up buying a new alarm system. 😝
Does anyone have a traditional landline phone service still? I'm trying to get a regular landline but all I can find is VOIP.
Kimberly R. replied:
800.288.2020 M - F 8 am - 7 pm, Sat 8 am - 5 pm Local time call them att
David C. replied:
If you're in Pasco County (post says Port Richey), contact Verizon. If you're in Hernando County, contact AT&T. My parents have had their copper-based landline (Southern Bell/Bellsouth/AT&T) for years. Bright House is VOIP only.
We're thinking about switching cable companies from Time-Warner to U-verse. Does anybody in the Brentwood/Royal Manor area have (or had) U-verse. How's your experience? Happy? Other thoughts? Thanks!
Ben W. replied:
Tom - I just did a "live chat" with "Joe" at at&t u-verse, he can be reached at 800-288-2020 reference his ID# JF252T - I told him I was listing his info - I noticed on my bill that it went up $20. In our chat I simply typed just curious as to why my bill went up = He then comes back with a solution and now my bill is about $10 less then what it was before.
Kate K. replied:
I have along with internet...it is great and they answer the phone should you have any questions using it once it is installed. I love that AT&T or at least their agents service your equipment. I received 6 or 12 months free HD, a $10 value. All you need is a phone line and Royal Manor homes have that. I have 450 level plan for sports like the NFL station.
Any suggestions for a cheap, basic landline phone service company?
Brandi B. replied:
My parents pay $13.03 a month for basic phone service threw AT&T 800.288.2020
Bonnie R. replied:
Tami , I don't know your income but you can call AT&T they have specific plans to assist low income households and see if you qualify. . it is usually basic local calling only.
Dorothy I. replied:
I pay 30/mo for basic phone through AT&T. No long distances or any frills. With Life Line it is at least 1/2 the cost.
Everyone, I currently have Brighthouse but am looking for a new Internet Service Provider. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a good company with reasonable prices?
Pat P. replied:
Kris Barnes Larson-ATT Internet customer service 800-288-2020. Make sure you negotiate with them. You should be able to get Internet for $34 and FREE installation and FREE equipment, including new inside phone line if needed.
Cecilia G. replied:
I think you should call AT&T and check with them they have good prices for customer's that switch.
Ilona K. replied:
I don't want cable, just internet service and at&t works fine. Just don't trust them based on my experience. I resolved their bait and switch tactic with an FCC complaint; it was resolved to my immense satisfaction. Funny how govt can get a corp to move real fast.
Ilona K. replied:
Pat Pierce my internet doesn't have a contract - this is internet only as I stated, no cable or uverse. And I have questioned these increases. You sound suspiciously like an at&t sales rep.
Kathy B. replied:
What was not mentioned here are specific locations. I've been afraid to switch out of Bright house because of cost. Service has been great for 27 years...but those starter prices at WOW and AT&T are usually lower. I want to swich
Julie N. replied:
We had brighthouse, switched to wow, they suck, now have at&t, by far the best in my opinion but they are pricey.
Ilona K. replied:
I have at&t internet and they raise the price $3 every year.
Ilona K. replied:
Oh yeah, be careful with promotional price offers from at&t - they have a problem honoring them.
Michelle K. replied:
My wow has been in and out for a few days. Internet only. When we called we got a recording that it's statewide. But I don't know that wow is the only company having issues. Our phones would only text, no calls in or out, and got the same recording when we called. Anyone have similar issues with AT&T, or anything else we have in the area? I can't think of any of the other companies aside from BH,wow, & AT&T.
I have Dish Network, but does any one know how their internet service is or could you recommend a provider? Thanks!
Gerri C. replied:
AT&T U-Verse 1-800-288-2020. When I first started using them, the promotional offer I received was $19.95 a month for one year. After that year it went up to $24.95 month. It's unlimited! We have Netflix, 4 Smart TV's, 2 laptops, Playstation 4 and our cell phones all connected and NEVER have any problems! Our kids and friends come over and they connect as well with no problem. I highly recommend you give them a call.
I have no cell phone service at our house & I am in our last trimester of pregnancy :) therefor im in need of a home phone service ...any recommendations of an inex
Erin L. replied:
AT&T is the only one I can think of. 800.288.2020
Bill R. replied:
AT&T store in the shopping center has wireless box for home service. it's unlimited long distance for $19.99 a month.
Bill R. replied:
I don't remember paying for the box. we were paying about $70 a month for the same service from AT&T. with the box, your phone plugs into it. I guess it works similar to the cell phone....so if your cell won't work, it probably wouldn't either.
ISO good home phone and internet service provider? Just moved to Madera any suggestions?
Tucky R. replied:
Dish has 19.99 too - dish 866-569-8596 - AT&T Uverse 800.288.2020
Jane N. replied:
I agree with perry. When I was looking for it as us old people just entered the 21 st centrey lol. At&t only had 2 mgs of speed for that 14.99. Where Xfinity has 25 for 39.00 and you didn't have to have a homephone line if you don't want. As we all have cell phones and didn't want a home phone.
Does anybody work for AT&T or know somebody who does? I need a few questions answered And advise on possibly switching from iPhone to a droid on account that I'm ready to smash my phone with a hammer and run it over n burn the apple store that's all thank you! Have a great day.
