If you do not have a friend or family in the US : some people just take an address from the phone book ... I do not know how this works in case of an accident though.

As you are so huge and beautiful, I can give you a US address to use, if you need? The documents that are sent by mail you don't really need as you can print the certificate from the email. Strangely for insurance, 12 months was double the price of 6 months - insurance companies don't usually use normal calculators. Ours was $440 UDS for 6 mts, Canada + USA. But if you cut out the minute man and go to progressive.com you can customize your coverage to fit your needs and its a lot cheaper.
