If you supply your own horse's hair it needs to be tail hair only and 1/2" in diameter.
To cut your horse`s tail gather the longest strands at the tip, pull to the side and cut near the tail bone. If you want to be discreet, simply do this several times.
Secure with an elastic at one end and place in a vented plastic bag.
