Whether you are a competitive swimmer, do triathlons or just enjoy "wild swimming", Queenford Lakes invite you all to make use of the open water swim sessions starting in the summer.
Swim times: Mondays 6pm-8pm or dusk Wednesdays 6am-8.45am Sundays 7am-9.45am
Cost: £5 per session or £40 for 10 swims £4 per swim for Openwaterclubs members (www.openwaterclubs.org.uk)

You will need to have register for a chipped wristband at the cost of £10 for the whole season. You can do this online now and pick up your wristband when you come to the lake for your first swim : http://www.nowca.org/products/131-seasonal-membership.aspx
Facilities: - 300, 750, 1000 metre well marked course - Free parking - ideal location for triathlete's who would like to go cycling after their swim and leave their cars in a fairly safe location. We are right on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, which are ideal for on and off road cycling. - There is a short (1.3 miles) and long (2.3 mile) cross country run loop around the lake - Outdoor lake-side warm shower to rinse off after your swim - Changing facilities with female/male block and warm shower - Toilet - Kids Climbing and play Area - for those of you who would like to bring your families along while you swim - Refreshments will be available at each session and some food
Note:
Everyone needs to fill in a Declaration and Indemnity form before they attend their first session. Forms will be available at each session, or you can download one from our website and bring it along to your first session.
Our open water swim sessions are only for adults 16 years and older who are able to swim 500m unaided.
