Including but not limited to redoing an existing bathroom, adding an additional bathroom in my basement, cast iron piping being replaced in the basement. I need some DIY advice to investigate an urgent problem with back-up from use of my upstairs water sources (shower and dishwasher) causing my downstairs bathroom and shower drain to back up significantly. If anyone can talk me through this, please inbox me asap. I don't have much experience with good plumbing services - and, I'm hoping maybe it's a no-brainer fix for which I just happen to not have a brain. :/

  *sigh* Here we go again: Our water bill was twice the amount as regular, so LWC checked today. They did acknowledge the meter was misread by 10,000 units, but they did tell us we need to have a plumber install a new toilet. So, anyone know a good plumber?
