About us
My name is Chantelle, I am a Auckland based Mobile Makeup Artist specialising in Makeup for Bridal, Special Occassion, fashion, editorial, advertising. I studied a Diploma in Special effects and Makeup Artisry in 2006 and have been seduced by the industry ever since.
I am a self-confessed perfectionist and have refined my talent through working with some of the top professionals in the beauty industry. I have a laid back and relaxed personality, I have been known to calm even the most Bridezilla of Brides. I like to create an atmosphere where my client is tranquil yet still having a great time.
I have over 10 years experience in the industry as a freelancer and employed make-up artist, I have gained extensive experience in all areas of the beauty industry from working with top brands and international Artist's to teaching Artistry at a pro level.
I have always had a huge passion for helping woman to achieve their dreams, and with a love and talent for Makeup Artistry a career in teaching at a Makeup school seemed like the natural progression. In 2016 I began teaching make-up to students as the full time Beauty Makeup Tutor at Samala Robinson Academy.
With my new found love for teaching I am still continuing to work freelance on weddings, school balls, and other special events. I am lucky to have a job that encourages my freelance Career.
I worked with Mecca Cosmetica as one of their Colour specialist's between 2010 and 2014, traveling nationwide and appearing and working in-store promotions, special events, fashion shows and magazine editorials.
I was the New Zealand Senior Artist for Bobbi Brown which was a brand I had such a love for in that they are all about celebrating womens individual beauty and enhancing there natural features.
