Liz C. asked:Wise listers- I am looking for a contractor who can help create a permament solution to a leaking basement. I assume we will need to install a sump pump. Have others used anyone that they would recommend? TIACarol L. replied:Dave at www.santoconstruction.com or Charlie at www.charlesronchetti.com Charlie installed french drainage around our basement along with sump pumps. Some years later, Dave's crew dug up our yard to re-do our water service to the street and they connected many of our downspouts into drainage pipes.
