  Fence contractor recommendations? I'm looking to put in about 150 feet of fence for privacy and noise reduction along a busy road, and I'd like to avoid going through the big chain stores for it. Cost is definitely a consideration, appearance less so--it doesn't need to be cute, just well built. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you!

  Hi. I used Fence Scapes ((828) 545-5711)). They were professional, stuck to budget, and showed up when they said they would. And they were in and out quickly after they got started. They had a long waiting list then (four years ago I think we waited at least 3 months), and I imagine it's longer now with the building boom. But I'd definitely recommend them.
