Welcome to Mother’s Dumplings, a cozy, welcoming café in the heart of Chinatown! Born in Shenyang, our owner and cook, Zhen, cooks up delicious Northern Chinese style comfort food based on family recipes passed down from generation to generation.
Since opening our doors in June of 2005, Mother’s Dumplings has received praise from numerous publications. We are proud to have been voted Best Chinese Restaurant in Toronto three years in a row! We're looking for some good Asian food that isn't too far away (no rental car - but if it's REALLY worth it then we could uber or transit) Does anyone have suggestions for sushi, KBBQ, dimsum or hotpot? Or really any asian food :) We saw KAKA AYCE as a suggestion and it looks great - is it worth making the trip up to Markham? Thanks!
