Vibrant farms employs a co-op supply system to ensure sustainability, the herds remain small which ensures quality of the beef, and also ensures consistent supply.
We are committed to the following principles
1) Micro Nutrient Density - ensuring the soil has proper nutrients, will ensure that the food harvested from the land, or the grass the animal eats will benefit their health, and subsequently yours
2) Grass fed - no corn!!! Corn is Genetically Modified as well as often highly fermented, not to mention cows stomachs are not built to eat and digest corn down.
3) Organic- we are Certified organic, while these days Organic is sometimes undependable, we ensure it is 3rd party certified, and go beyond the certification requirements ensuring our animals are not vaccinated (which is allowed within standards)
4) Sustainability - we are committed to sustainable practices from the soil to the shelf, from farming practices to pricing and distribution
5) Community and Education - we want all our customers to feel apart of the farm and to take ownership over their health
6) Cow Calf - we ensure quality products due to the cow calf closed operations that we run, we do not bring steers in for their last year and finish them, we raise them from birth on up and ensure the health of their mothers as well as the calves health all through their lives.
