About us
Hi, I'm Natasha Huisman! I am a Hamilton (Glanbrook), Ontario based Lifestyle Documentary photographer. My goal is to bring to families beautiful images captured from their every day adventures, just living life and doing what they do either in their own environment at home or out exploring somewhere together. I'm not a huge fan of posed studio shoots although I do have the option of studio lighting for specific situations such as newborn sessions. The natural late afternoon light that God provides is what really results in the most beautiful pictures!
I am a graduate of the Applied Photography program at Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning in Oakville, Ontario, Canada (2012). I have also received diplomas in Art Fundamentals from Sheridan (2012), Theology, Ministry & Missions Studies from King's Bible College & Training Centre in Oxford, U.K. (2007) and completed a Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission, Montreal, Quebec (2008).
I like bright colours (my favourite is pink!), cute kitchy and vintage things, country life and nostalgia. I love going on and documenting adventures with my kids to new places -- parks, fields and neighbourhoods we haven't discovered yet!
I live in Mount Hope by the Hamilton airport with my handsome and hilarious husband Tony, smart and silly son Xander, cutie baby girl Dakota, two cats Cookie, Meushi and bunny Pinkie Pie.
I am also available for editorial and commercial work.
