HIGH SCHOOL: - Was a 5'11" guard at East Aurora High School in Aurora, IL. Played varsity as a freshman - team captain - coached by Bob Kivisto the son of the legendary Ernie Kivisto - lead the nation in 3-pointers made in a season with 111. Holds the East Aurora school record - MVP of the East Aurora Holiday Tournament - All-Conference (junior and senior year) - lead the Upstate 8 in free-throw shooting at 90% - winning season 27-2 averages: 12 ppg as a freshman, 15 ppg as a sophomore, 18 ppg as a junior, 22 ppg as a senior.
COLLEGE: - Played 2 years at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, KS - Jayhawk conference - coached by Randy Smithson and Brian Jackson - All-Conference (2 years) - set school record with 12 3-pointers in one game finish with 41 pts - conference player of the month - newcomer of the year - team captain - 1st Team All-Tournament Team - averages: 20 ppg freshman 22 ppg sophomore
LAMAR UNIVERSITY: - Played 2 years - coached by the legendary Billy Tubbs (BILLY BALL) - lead NCAA in free-throw percentage 90% - player of the week - average 20 ppg - player of the month - team captain - newcomer of the year
PRO: - Played 3 years semi-pro ABA Basketball - coached by Kenny Battle - 6th man of the year award - lead conference in 3-point shooting percentage/ made - Hammond Rollers and Sauk Valley Rollers - average 18 ppg off the bench
