I have a question about exclusions on a house for pests maybe someone can help me with.
First of all, woke up a couple of weeks ago to a dead smell in house. I got on the phone with lots of companies to help me find the source and of course they all want you to do an exclusion. I decided to go with my company (won't name names on here) that has my termite warranty. Paid $1300 up front. The same day, the guy was coming to do the exclusion and set traps. He found what he thought was a hole under the fireplace and told us to fix it. We did, at our expense of $180.
It was estimated that he would be here about 4-5 hours. He was here for 40 mins, did nothing except set traps and replace one 2 ft section of flashing. On the contract it says they will do the whole roof line, etc.
They keep saying they will do what's right, but nothing has been done. I'm at a point where I want to reverse the charge on my credit card, but thought I would ask here in case I'm missing something and things happen at a slower pace than what I was told.
I was told they don't set traps until the exclusion is 100% done because they trap them i the house. Traps are set, but exclusion has not been done. Is the the correct sequence of things?
