  I don’t know if you’re looking for entry level or custom style homes, but a good place to start would be the [Parade of Home 2018 ](http://www.hbrcny.com/poh18). It’s a great way to look at about 8-10 fully furnished model homes, side by side to compare what these builders are capable of providing you with. The builders are usually on site to answer any questions you may have, so you can knock out a huge chunk of research in one day.
