  can you get to Elmhurst? I'd recommend Dr. Richard Steffens. 630 530 7998. He's awesome. A perfectionist and he never keeps you waiting and the oral surgeon is right downstairs. ( Dr. Jeffrey W. Chandler) 630-833 0399. Beautiful atrium building. they have wi-fi so you can play with your iPad to distract from the terror and it's around the corner from Oakbrook mall to reward yourself for having survived when the ordeal is over. I went down for Jury duty the day after my surgery. I suffered no pain (without any pain meds - not even tylenol - ) and most importantly I did not bleed to death, which is my huge phobia. Just thinking about bloodshed makes me woosey... Good luck.
