Any recommendations for Mexican food? I tried out Taco Tuesday at Santa Maria the other day and it was pretty decent. Anyone here have suggestions for other good Mexican restaurants? Bonus points if any are in or near Prenzlauer Berg.

as a Mexican I'll give you my opinion and power ranking regarding Mexican style restaurants in Berlin:
1. Ag"uevo Taqueria (Friedrichschain)/ Ta'Kabron - pretty much the bests ones when talking about real Mexican food (but with the outside mexico touch), not expensive and quite good portions. Here you'll find typical Mexican dishes like Mole and Enchiladas.
2. Chaparro (Gorlitzer) - street food prepared by a real Mexican guy, the carnitas tacos are my favorite and on Wednesdays they have tacos and mezcal for 1/1.50 euro, most of the times they're tinga tacos, which are pretty good.
3. Santa Maria (Kotti) / Maria Bonita (Eberswalderstr) - I think they're pretty much the same, but in Maria Bonita they have what I consider real northern Mexican burritos, as the one with bacon and eggs (California style burritos are rare in Northern Mexico). Santa Maria is more like a bar with tacos, and the carnitas burritos are amazing. They have on Tuesdays tacos, the beef and pastor are nice, and Sierra (ugh) tequila shots for 1 euro.
4. Dolores (Wittemberg and Alexanderplatz) - nice California style burritos, pretty big and not as expensive as I would expect, 6-8 euros depending on what you ask. But at the end, they are California burritos, not real Mexican ones.
5. Frida Kahlo (Eberswalderstr.) - pretty fancy and big menu and although they call themselves a Pulqueria, they had nothing to do with it: they don't sell Pulque (a fermented beverage from Agave sap) and pulquerias don't sell fancy food. I would recommend the Flautas (slightly fried tortilla filled with chicken) or the Enchiladas.
6. No Hablo Espa;ol - I didn't like them, asked for a chorizo quesadilla which was basically a small quesadilla with spanish chorizo paper-thin-slices and the burritos had nothing in special, pretty bland...but I couldn't expect more as it was the first burrito place I went here in Berlin. If you really want a burrito or quesadilla, I would go to other place.
----------I haven't tried them list-----------
Tin Tan (Chausseestr.) - Friends have told me it is pretty good, real mexican food with a nice menu. By the pictures in their Facebook page it looks promising.
Berlin Burrito Company (Winterfeldplatz) - Haven't tried or heard about them, just saw them near my place, but they seem to be on the Dolores style side according to their menu.
Burrito Box (Ostkreuz) - they seem to be good but haven't heard of them but one time, my friends said they're good but still need to try them.
Enjoy!

Like most of the Californians in this thread, I agree: most of the Mexican food in Berlin is just not that good.
Dolores is like a poorly executed Chipotle (which itself isn't even close to real Mexican food). Santa Maria is OK, but two co-workers of mine fell ill after eating there. In my experience, Maria Bonita is really bad. My wife took one bite out of her burrito and threw it away. I ate my food just because I didn't want to waste it, but overall, it feels like they just don't care very much about the quality of the food there.
The best Mexican food I've had in Berlin was from La Tortilla Atomica, which is run by a native Mexican guy who delivers the food to you on a bike. The food is authentic and really good, but there's a bit of a markup.
