Trustworthy Auto Electrician My indicators stopped working briefly today, so I called a mobile auto electrician to come and have a look. He tells me it's the flasher unit, removes it, and asks for my credit card info so he can buy a new one from the wholesaler. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that and to get me a price and call me and then I'd pay him, and he left with the flasher. This was at 2pm.
It's now 7pm, and I haven't heard from him. I tried calling but he didn't answer. I've since done a bit of googling and found that they appear on several scam websites. I no longer want their service, but they have my flasher. Does anybody know any reliable Auto Electricians that are open on Sunday that can replace the flasher instead?
Or if you happen to know what type of flasher relay goes in a 1997 Mazda Familia hatchback I can probably get it sussed myself.
