I am wondering if there is anywhere around NYC where you can either play with or volunteer to work with animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, politicians, etc.). I have heard of a few programs where you work at kennels and such, but it seems like they are mostly looking for foster homes or temp homes, which we can't do.
