I am looking for a dermatologist to take a look at my scalp and was hoping to hear if anyone knows of a good one. Ive tried Google but the results seem all very the place and I couldn't tell which might be helpful (and will also hopefully accept my insurance) I've spoken with two doctors about this in the past and both pretty much brushed it off quickly without pursuing the issue further. I'd like to have a doctor who will actually be more caring and will run tests like blood work and a scalp biopsy Thank you to any advice!

And I'm especially wary of paying $250 for a consultation if I don't know it's the right surgeon. Has anyone in the NYC area had transplants? If so, any good doctors they would recommend?
