Looking to buy engagement ring box Hey all,
I’m planning on proposing to my girlfriend this weekend (yay!) While I know she’ll love the ring, I’m not too jazzed on the box in which it came. It’s pretty bland; a grey featureless cube. I know the box isn’t the important feature, but I also know my girlfriend, and know she’d love having something nice to put on the mantle (She’ll display the ring box one way or another, and I’d rather it be something she loves).
So! I’m hoping to do some shopping while I’m in Manhattan today. I guess I’m looking for recommendations on either jewelry stores (in the middle-income price range), antique stores, weird stores, international stores, and I definitely would not shy away from something funky and off-beat.
If anyone has any tips or recommendations, I’d be stoked to hear them.
Thanks!

[Pippin](https://pippinvintage.com/) might have something interesting. Or [Reverie](https://www.reverienyc.com/). [Zak](https://www.yelp.com/biz/zak-jewelry-tools-new-york) has a bunch. Nothing too wild, but there might be something there. I know Etsy has been suggested, but you are on a time crunch. You might look for local sellers who will do pick up.
Antique lockets? I'm looking to buy an antique or vintage locket for my friends birthday. Can anyone suggest a store or neighborhood to look or a subreddit to check out? Budget friendly is always preferred!
