Veterinary suggestions? Specifically for dental work. I have a 10yr old Pekingese who is the light of my life and needs dental work. I want the best place I can afford. I made an appointment with Kennilworth based off their ratings on Yelp (5 of 5 stars) and proximity to me (325 w. McDowell). They're charging me $50 for an initial consult which I feel is reasonable provided they take the time and care with him.
Does anyone have experiences with them?
If not is there any other place you would recommend?
He's been to Alta Vista before but I'm a bit nervous based on their ratings and that he'll likely have to be put under to have teeth pulled.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm very nervous about this :/

There are no bargains to be had, but last I checked there are two board-certified veterinary dentists in the Phoenix metro area. [Coffman and Visser here,](http://www.azvetdentists.com/index.php/doctors-a-staff/what-is-a-board-certified-veterinary-dentist) and Visser seems to practice in [several offices.](http://www.vetdentists.com/arizona-vet-dentist/) You can couple that with a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist if you really want to empty your bank account.
