I'm looking for good Vietnamese restaurants to try out during my stay. I would say we're fortunate to have some decent places to eat at as we have a fairly big Vietnamese community up here in Vancouver (Although, nowhere near as large as Houston's), but I find we lack variety on the menu (there's more to Vietnamese food than just pho and banh mi). What are some 'must-go' places Houstonians would recommend for authentic Vietnamese food? Thanks in advance.

  I absolutely love [Tay Do](https://www.taydorestaurant.com/menu). The Vietnamese Egg Rolls are beyond delicious.. I seriously love them. They're a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant (not fusion, they just have both). I've also had a few things from [Mai's](http://maishouston.com/menu.php?section=app). It's been good and they're open VERY late, 3 or 4 AM depending on the day. I'm not sure how their selection compares however.
