Looking for small group (5-7 people) restaurant recccomendations Hi all,
I'm looking for a restaurant recommendation for a small group, roughly 5-7 people. Looking for something that doesn't exceed a mid price range (max $20 a plate) and I'm open to all and any suggestions as to food types. Location would be in central Houston. Thanks for your help!

I also second [Local Foods](http://www.houstonlocalfoods.com/Local_Kirby_Main%20Menu.pdf), and prefer the Kirby location for its superior parking lot. Other suggestions: [Mai's](http://maishouston.com/menu.php?section=app) (Vietnamese) [Jinya](https://jinya-ramenbar.com/locations/detail/midtown) (ramen) [Bombay Pizza Co](http://www.bombaypizzaco.com/menu.html) (Indian pizza) **Updated
Canadian visiting Houston for the first time. In search of authentic Vietnamese fare! Hi,
Vietnamese-Canadian from Vancouver BC and visiting Houston for the very first time! I'm looking for good Vietnamese restaurants to try out during my stay. I would say we're fortunate to have some decent places to eat at as we have a fairly big Vietnamese community up here in Vancouver (Although, nowhere near as large as Houston's), but I find we lack variety on the menu (there's more to Vietnamese food than just pho and banh mi). What are some 'must-go' places Houstonians would recommend for authentic Vietnamese food?
Thanks in advance.

I absolutely love [Tay Do](https://www.taydorestaurant.com/menu). The Vietnamese Egg Rolls are beyond delicious.. I seriously love them. They're a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant (not fusion, they just have both). I've also had a few things from [Mai's](http://maishouston.com/menu.php?section=app). It's been good and they're open VERY late, 3 or 4 AM depending on the day. I'm not sure how their selection compares however.
