  Cruising out of Miami, FL in a few days, need help finding a decent/inexpensive hotel and parking arrangements! First time, please help! Needless to say, I'm kicking myself for not figuring out all of this stuff sooner, but I guess the holidays and family visits got the best of my time. Anyway, we're sailing out of Miami on the 5th, and I'm trying to find a hotel for the night before. I've talked to friends and relatives, been warned about fraud in Miami, told "some hotels look good but they're in the ghetto", and had people recommend other things in terms of parking at the airport (we're driving down from NC), and other stuff like that. Long story short, I'm hoping some of you here have some solid advice on where we should stay. We need something affordable that offers parking, or maybe an alternative plan for parking that won't cost us another $100 while we're on the boat lol ... thanks in advance for your replies!

  Stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Brickell Downtown and had a great experience. Pub/restaurant close by.
