We have visited some vets already and he does need surgery. It is just really expensive and my family and I are in a bit of a bind financially right now. It would be great to get the number of some places and go from there. Also, subreddits related to the area and vets would be good. Not sure if there are many. EDIT: Thank you all for the responses.   My amazing vet has been woth me through 3 dogs. Dr Jason Rattan is honest and talked us out of surgery that was recommended by a prior vet. 310-271-6186. at 8679 Pico.
