Large group dinner venue My granddad's 89th birthday will be celebrated here in Chicago, piggybacking off of my cousin's wedding. Everyone's looking to me to figure out a good restaurant that can provide good service, great food, a full bar, and a tolerably loud atmosphere for 20 people. My granddad likes to give a good speech at dinner, so "tolerably loud" is key.
Any recommendations? So far I am thinking one of the following:
* Carnivale
* Belly Q
* The Parthenon
* The Bedford
* Piece (though not sure if pizza is up the old man's alley)
Understanding that 20 people is a lot, I won't be offended if you recommend I treat this more "event" than "reservation" and start inquiries along those lines.

I think almost any restaurant would be able to handle a group of 20. What you might want to look into is a restaurant where you could get a private room. [Nookies](http://www.nookieschicago.com) on Bryn Mawr has a side room that can hold at least 20 people - it's a beautiful restaurant and I don't think they have a room charge as long as you spend a certain amount of money. They also have a parking lot behind the building.
