None of the other AC vents in the home have this. I live in a 3 story town home and generally keep each floor at different temperatures, though by only 1-2 degrees. After doing some research, it looks like this is a common issue. Also, I'm fairly certain I want to hire a professional for testing and removal. However, I want to go with someone reputable and honest. I'm hoping you guys have some experience and hopefully some good insight/recommendations. Thanks in advance for any help!

  If you need your air ducts inspected/cleaned and also possible mold testing I would try AdvantaClean (713-401-9477). Another company I know of that does mold testing (not sure if they do cleaning) is HTX Consulting Services (832-889-9489). I work at an environmental laboratory and am familiar with their services though I don't have any personal experience with them. Good luck!
