  I love my son's pediatrician. Dr Tamara Barstow@Peace Health on Barger/Quest Drive. They're always quick to get him in, the staff is so friendly and caring, and Dr Barstow always listens and is never in a rush. She is always spot on with diagnosis and treatment so we never have to return a week later. She has a great personality and is easy to talk to and get along with. We have been with her since the day my son was born and hope to never have to find another one. Edit: added better location reference.

  I saw Dr. Pelinka at Peace Health Riverbend until I was too old to stay in Pediatrics only because I felt she took any of my concerns \(even as an older kid; like, mid\-late teens\) seriously. I always felt like she was easy to talk to and never made me feel bad or inferior if I didn't understand a term she used. The only thing is that she does have more of a wait time \(I'm not sure if that's changed\). Personally, I felt it was worth it \(sometimes like 45 min \- 1 hour after appointment\) because I, too, received the same level of commitment and time during my appointments. When I made sure to put enough time in my day for that kind of flexibility, I never had an issue. For people on a tighter time crunch, I can understand that not being ideal. Good luck with the move!
