  Movers for long(ish) distance? Hoping for some recommendations for movers to move our stuff (2 bedroom apartment) out of the Capital region. I searched the sub and most recommendations I found were for local moves or from many years ago. Usually we are UHaul DIY'ers but we're moving to NYC and realllly don't want to have to drive the big truck in traffic and deal with all that, so we want to throw money at the problem this time.   I highly recommend http://movingon-ny.com They moved me and all my many things up from Westchester to Albany. They were about half the price of movers downstate. Wasn't an easy move either, long uphill walkway w/ 2 flights of stairs. The 2 guys went beast mode and we were done by 2 pm.
