  Depends on which road. Major trunk roads are Highways Agency, most minor ones are one of the council's. Best way to complain is via the volunteer-run website www.fixmystreet.com where you can pinpoint the problem on a map, and it automatically works out which body to send the complaint to.

  TBH I think that the best way to get stuff dealt with is through Fix My Street. I have reported lots of issues through this site, including bunged up drains, overflowing bins and litter and generally all matters have been dealt with.   CAUTION ⚠BLOCKED PASSSAGE! Was taking my nephews for a stroll this morning down locks lane from rest bay, when I got half way down I was met by a huge amount of horse manure plus a very narrow gap due to over grown bushes, which meant I had to reverse the double buggy backwards up the lane to the park entrance and walk across the long wet grass. Don't think I will need to go to the gym tonight after that workout. Does anyone know who to contact about getting this sorted please?

  Whoops posted the fix my street link under wrong login. I reported the verge in Aston recently on FixmyStreet and it was mowed within a week. Really good way to get this sort of issue sorted quickly
