Any recommendations for a realtor who can provide a LOT of guidance? We are looking for a house but have very little idea what we're looking for. Undecided on neighborhood, number of bedrooms (2-4?), and what features are important to us. First-time homebuyers.
Any recommendations for a someone who can help us discuss options and nail down what we're looking for? Basically I think I'm looking for a realtor with a dash of counselor/life coach....
Thanks in advance.
Edit: lotta good tips here. Thank you.

Do you have or are you looking to get pre-approval before speaking to an agent? In the market we have here in Columbus, most, if not all reasonable agents are going to going to want you to be already in or well past the process of pre-approval. You're entering the busy season and I only bring this us as it will make your process run even more smooth. You basically got to be ready to go go go on properties as soon as they come up. As a buyer, you may consider working with an Buyers only firm. https://buyershome.com/ and the team there are good. I was/am in the real estate industry in a more "Executive" role and that's who I used for my own purchase - Andrew Show specifically.
Moving to Columbus: any recommendations for realtors that can help find a 1 or 2 yr rental before we buy? Also looking at surrounding cities (e.g., Dublin, Blacklick, New Albany). Thanks in advance!

buyershome.com Great buyers agents, I don’t know for sure if they do rentals. But they would be worth a call.
Realtor recommendations Hi all, I want to start the process of buying a condo or townhouse (likely not an actual house with my budget). Do you have any recs for realtors who are good with working with new homeowners? I'm 27 and totally new to this process.
Thanks!

If you're buying, stick with an agent that wants to cater only to buyers. Co-op agents do not generally work in your best interest. https://buyershome.com/ is one to look at. Andrew Show is quite good, but anyone on that team. Before anything, lock in your timeframe and get pre-approved from lenders. You'll be thankful you did.. the market is moving insanely quick now and you've gotta jump on things almost yesterday..
