I'm stuck here in California but I wanted to buy her some flowers to cheer up the apartment my parents are staying in while she's going through treatment.   A Classic Bloom is very close to the med center (assuming that's the part of town their apartment is going to be in?) https://www.aclassicbloom.com/flowers/florists-choice-daily-deal There's also Houston Medical Center Florist http://www.houstonmedicalcenterflorist.com/ The Village Greenery is another local favorite, near the Med Center and Rice University http://www.villagegreeneryflowers.com/ They do a lot of little extra things, have all kinds of balloons and decorations, etc. I would call any of these folks directly to make sure of a Monday delivery.
