  Seafood Markets near Ashburn? I recently moved into Ashburn out by Dulles and am looking for a seafood market. I've been in the nearby grocery stores (Wegmans, Giant, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods) and the best selection was Whole Foods, but none of it was local. My google searches haven't been helpful. Am I too far inland to get any fresh seafood from the coast? Where do I need to check out for fresh seafood?

  Hi new neighbor! It looks like you've mostly gotten more grocery store type answers. If you're looking for fish that hasn't been frozen, thawed, and put behind a counter labeled "fresh," I'd recommend Lobster Maine-ia in Chantilly (https://lobstermaine-ia.com/). They're a family owned business and have the freshest seafood and lobsters I've been able to find here (former New Englander myself). The staff are also super nice and will answer any questions you have about the origin of your seafood.
