Assisted Living in Columbus I am brand new to Reddit, as a friend recommended I try posting for help!
My Mom is a 56 year old who is diagnosed with MS and also recently diabetes. She lives alone, and has for the last 8 years. Her condition is getting worse and her doctor recommended assisted living.
I have done some research, but I honestly don’t know where to begin. If anyone could recommend any assisted living communities in the Columbus area, I would greatly appreciate it. I live in the Worthington/Westerville area.
Also - any input about assisted living in general would be helpful.
Thank you in advance!

You should contact the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, they are rock stars in being extremely helpful. They offer a wide variety of services and sounds like this is included. Good luck, I know it’s tough to consider putting a parent in assisted living. http://www.coaaa.org/cms/24-cat-services
